Colson Baker (or Machine Gun Kelly) is famous for his distinct style of his rapping. Baker was originally born in Houston, TX U.S. on the 22nd of April 1990, to parents of English Scottish German descent. His parents were missionaries and throughout his childhood, he traveled a lot along with them. James Colson Baker was depressed and unemployed while Sonia Alane, his mother was divorced from his family when he was barely Nine years old. Baker was moved to Denver with his father and stayed for some time. Baker suffered bullying from other children in his neighborhood because of his poor living conditions. When he was in sixth grade, he started listening to hip-hop. Colson Kelly was born Machine Gun Kelly on April 22nd, 1989 in Texas. The music he creates is a blend of contemporary hip-hop, alternative and rock. Baker has signed with Bad Boy Records in 2010, released four mixes between 2007 and 2010. In the midst of delivering lyrics at the speed of a bullet train this Cleveland rapper experienced a meteoric increase in the latter half of 2011 as Baker made the switch from releasing self-released mixtapes and then signing on reputable label. The following years saw every album he released came in at #10 on the chart.
